Vacancy detail

• In close collaboration with the RPP contractor, oversee the running of the assessment centre.

• Ensure all military staff are sufficiently trained and prepared to run each activity.

• Day-to-day management of all military personnel within assessment centre.

• Management of individual military training requirements and implementation of discipline.

• Use military judgement to evaluate each Candidate against fixed criteria.

• Management of assessment centre G4 including oversight against assurance process.

• Oversee the interview and selection process, ensuring timely recording and submission of all results.
• Must be comfortable using all O365 programmes and IT in general.
• Prior experience of recruiting would be an advantage.

• Prior experience as a sub-unit WO would be an advantage.

The role of Selection WO works closely with the Centre 2IC and RPP contractor to oversee the smooth running of the centre and selection of potential recruits.  It offers a unique opportunity to be involved with the selection of tomorrow's army, and to influence the decisions and career of young recruits.
