Task requirements

Responsible to Comd Med for the functional delivery of optimised Medical and Healthcare Governance (HG), compliance and assurance across Fd Army Tps, LandSOF, LWC.
1. HG Assurance lead in Sp of Comd Med, coordinating advice, guidance and trg to units within AO– incl Lead for Qtly HcG Boards.
2. Manage the delivery of 1st/2nd Lines of Defence Assurance across the AO, including the planning and delivery of Unit advisory Visits and HAF IARs.
3. Coord and consolidate data and info for Healthcare Assurance Framework (HAF) reports for both Fmn HQ and subordinate Fmns/Units.
4. Coordinate the evaluation of HSS Plans and staffing to Comd Med for CMA evaluation and HRA.
5. Lead for Medical and Governance Lessons learnt within the Fmn, and promulgation of those lessons.
6. Action all Significant Event Reports (SERs) adding Fmn direction. Provide routine support or input for all SERs raised through the OPCOM CoC.
7. Act as 1RO for SO3 Med Training and Assurance and SO2 Med IntFHP.
8. Act as Secretary for Fmn RAMC Charity Fund Panel.

Essential competencies

Edn/Trg: ISCS(L/LR), MSO/PQO.
Experience: AMS Any. Ops: Yes. Staff Gr2.

Desirable competencies

Understanding of the impact of HCG on ops.
Previous HCG staff appt.
MSc.

Able to travel away from home regularly IOT conduct Unit Assurance inspections.
IT literate, Healthcare Governance and Assurance training (Army HcG Cse).
