Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OF2 to serve as the Executive Officer of Joint Cyber Unit Reserves (Cheltenham) (JCUR(Ch)) at Imjin Barracks, Gloucester on FTRS (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date being 01 May 24.
JCUR(Ch) is one of five unique Cyber Reserve Units in the MOD. The Executive Officer will be responsible for assisting the OC with managing specialist reserves throughout their careers as Cyber Reserves and ensuring that the Units high reputation for providing expert assistance on sensitive operations is upheld. JCUR(Ch) is a Tri-service Unit managing individuals on specialist TACOS, and the successful applicant will have high attention to detail and strong emotional intelligence to support its people in their work. Working within a small full-time team, the successful applicant will be able to work independently and be able to engage with reservists through various communications.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake Enhanced Developed Vetting.
Responsibilities:
Must be an OF2 of any specialisation and must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.
Must hold/be able to obtain eDV.
Must have recent and proficient J1 knowledge of MOD Reserves.
Experience in a Reserve environment.
Experience of working in a tri-service environment.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.

JCU(R) Cheltenham works from various locations (predominately SW) and flexible working arrangements will be considered. The successful applicant must be able to attend the mandated working weekends (12month forecasted) in both SW and Northern locations as required.
