Vacancy detail

Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OR4 to serve as the Cryptologic Services for Defence (CSD) NCO Distribution at MOD Corsham on FTRS(LC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of Nov 24.

The role will provide support to physical distribution, management, and in-service provision of all Cryptographic services across Defence set within MOD polices. The candidate will be employed as an administrative officer (AO) within CSD, utilising Codes, Receptor and Office 365 applications along with Remedy and other bespoke MOD IT systems and will be expected to attend meetings across the UK and occasionally overseas and may be required to conduct CSD driver courier activities so a manual UK driving licence is essential. Role will be employed primarily in the Physical Distribution team but could be employed in the following: Electronic Distribution, Equipment support, Service desk, Key ordering or the Customer Accounts management area in line with CSD Operationally business requirements. As part of the job role there will be a requirement to undertake manual handling tasks. 

The successful applicant will be required to undertake Developed Vetting.

Must be an OR4 of any specialisation. OR2 applicants with a recommend for the next higher rank in their most recent SJAR will be considered.

OR6/7/8/9 applicants, if successful, will only be paid as and wear the rank of OR4.

Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.

Excellent IT skills

Full UK Driving Licence
