7 RIFLES MT SNCO (OR6)

Position Role:  

MT SNCO under the control of OC HQ Coy and the QM is to manage and support the MTWO and MTO in all aspects of the MT department, including (but not exhaustive): Green and White Fleet allocation and maintenance, MT Equipment Care, Driver Training and Licence Acquisition, Unit Road Safety Officer, Unit HAZMAT Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Compliance with all ES / MT related policy/legislation and A&I programme (LSA&I, LEA, TECHEVAL)
2. Control and management of ES and MT assets (Fleet management/ JAMES SEM).
3. The audit, management and maintenance of all MT MIS platforms, ES / MT documentation (UECD input).
4. The forecasting, management, conduct and recording of scheduled and unscheduled vehicle maintenance.
5. The correct preparation of vehicles and equipment for transportation/storage.
6. Readiness and availability of equipment for operations and training.
7. Support the MTO and QM in the delivery of the UECM on all Equipment Care and EMS matters.
8. Support the MTO and QM in the delivery of MT matters and maintain Unit MT Standing Orders.

MT trained (Defence Transport Operator).

Can be completed in the first 12 months of appointment.
