Vacancy detail

Domestic Consideration: Army FTRS(HC), some travel and overnight duty may be required.
Position Role:  RAO 
Responsibilities:
1.    Provision of Administrative Support to Regimental Deployments & Moves.
2.    Overall Management of Personnel and Administration within the Regiment.
3.    Management, audit and provision of financial advice in relation to Public and Non-Public Funds.
4.    Management and Development of SPS Personnel & Civilian Administrative Staff.
5.    Responsible for the co-ordination and submission of casework to the PACCC on behalf of the CoC.
6.    Responsible for auditing of claims, fraud reporting and fraud prevention.
7.    Unit lead for the preparation and receiving of annual G1 Audit.
8.    Act as the Data Protection Officer for the Regiment.

1 RMP is a hybrid unit and knowledge or Reserve administration is desirable.
FTRS Application through to boarding
Demonstration of moral courage, by having to occasionally undertake unpopular and difficult financial and administration decisions whilst showing tact and co-operation.
Requires capacity for prioritising a high volume of Personnel tasks and be highly competent in the utility of JPA and policy relating to allowance regulations.
Must be able to operate with minimal direction and limited supervision.
Ability to determine key factors, liaise with other Units/Formations and other MOD departments and adept at briefing senior officers.
