A Promotion Board will be held at 605 Sqn, RAF Cosford on 27 May 22 for the purpose of selecting RAF Reserves personnel for promotion to fill a FS Supplier PTVR vacancy.

FS Supplier will assist OC Logs Flt in the co-ordination, management and development of the Sqn PTVR Supply Cadre. They will ensure trained PTVR ACs and JNCOs are sufficiently prepared to undertake their trade duties, on mobilisation or routine support days, through a programme of imaginative training scenarios, OJT and trade related exercises. The post holder will work closely with SNCO Logs and SNCO Supply to build a portfolio of training scenarios.

For consideration for promotion/appointment to FS rank, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Must either have been, or currently be, a Flight Sergeant or a Sergeant eligible for promotion in accordance with AP 3392 Vol 2 Leaflet 560 and AP 3376 Vol 1.

Have passed any prescribed trade examinations and any other conversion/further training courses required or set by the competent authority.

Have a current recommendation for promotion to fill an established vacancy in the rank of FS.

Understand or be willing to embrace the TG18 RAuxAF Trg pipeline.

Experience of working with Reserves.

Training Experience.

An Appointment Board will carry out a rigorous selection process for this post, based principally on an applicant’s last three Appraisal Reports.
