Vacancy detail

Domestic Consideration: must live within 1 hour travelling time of G (Guards) Coy (Kingston-Upon-Thames, KT1 2QX). Must be able to work during drill nights and weekends supporting Coy's training and exercises.

Responsibilities are:
1. The Company Quartermaster Sergeant is responsible for the Regimental Quartermaster for the efficient maintenance and service program of all the G4 Equipment within the Company location in a busy unit.
2.  Responsible for the day maintenance and delivery of the necessary level of support to all the exercises and operation preparations within the subunit.
3.  The Company Quartermaster Sergeant is responsible to the Regimental Quartermaster for the efficient running of the armoury security within the Company location. Any risks are to be identified to the Quartermaster for logging into the Unit Risk register.
4.  The Company Quartermaster Sergeant is responsible for the daily running and maintenance of an efficient store and have a good knowledge of the equipment and paperwork involved.  His/her responsibilities include; G4 Advisor to the Company Commander, fully understand the G4 Chain of Command, account for all G4 equipment issued to the company and all company property.
5.  Advise the Company Commander on all SHEFF & COSSH maters.
6.  Under the direction of the Quartermaster, advise the Company Commander on all mandatory inspections that are to be carried out.
7. To advise the Company Commander on all matters relating to transport. Have a full understanding of the ration accounting system. To mentor CQMS(V) & Senior Non Commissioned Officers in all G4 related matters. To administrate the Company in Barracks and in the field.  

MUST be a qualified CQMS (MJDI) trained.
