PSAO 71 MI Coy

Domestic considerations:  Post holder must live within a suitable commuting distance from Bristol.  Responsibilities.1. Manage and ensure delivery of administrative support across the Coy.  2. Manage Coy non-public funds, pay, allowances and the bounty process.3. Provide advice and guidance on G1 Admin matters and MS to the Coy. Deputise for OC as required. 4. Provide 1st line management of civilian staff and AGC(SPS) Reservists, including LTNA/VLA. 5. Support the OpsO in the management of the commitments and mobilisation process. 6. In collaboration with the UWO, manage welfare issues and identify E&D issues within the Coy.7. In collaboration with the ROSO and UESO, support recruiting and manage retention.   8. In collaboration with the QM, manage the ARC estate and provide the location lead on Unit Fire Management and H&S matters and G4 Equipment Compliance.      

UWO  Parts 1 and 2, TRiM and E & D qualifications.  Regular or Reserve Service and an Admin background.

FTRS Application through to boarding

The PSAO is the primary administrator for a Coy of Reservists and must be able to manage and advise on numerous and diverse administrative issues with due regard to the different nature of reservist attendance and their ability to self-administer. They must be able to reach solutions to complex and often unique issues and must be able to mentor reservists with regard to their personal and collective administration. They must be diplomatic and have a high degree of inter-personal skills. The incumbent of this post must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
