Geo Analyst - Civil Engagement and Comms Targeting Cell

Post sits within HQ Home Command.  HQ HC is the Army’s support command: engaging society; recruiting, training and educating; supporting UK resilience; protecting our heritage.

The Geo Analyst will support the Staff function in conducting Intelligence Preparation of the Recruiting Environment (IPRE) with ARITC, to identify current recruiting hotspots and build understanding of how attraction surge operations may be best shaped and targeted.

Lead for delivering geographical analysis of Engagement and Recruiting activity (past activity and current inflow).  Lead to collate, geographically represent and analyse engagement and recruiting data strands, using Lambton, GeoPortal and the Engt MIS (UCE).

Critically analyse all information to provide DACOS Comms, Marketing and Engagement and DACOS Personnel and Training with a clear geographical picture of the data requirements.

Flexible working can be negotiated.

  • Understanding/experience in Basic Training / Initial Trade Training

  • Must be comfortable working at the 3* level, producing high quality written work often directly to 1* and 3*
