This is a Volunteer Reserve position in a Nationally Recruited Unit.
As a National Reservist, be part of the HQ element of a specialist Hybrid Unit of 120 personnel that delivers Infrastructure for Defence and other Government Departments. Roles include all aspects of design; construction supervision; commissioning; inspections; etc.
As SO2 Infra Ops you will:
Provide G5 planning function for the Wks Gp Reserve elements;
Co-ordinate technical training for the Wks Gp Reserve elements;
Provide G1 administrative functions for the Wks Gp Reserve elements;
Conduct general staff duties in support of 63 Wks Gp RE, which may include assisting with the preparation and checking of, technical infrastructure reports.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend 44x RSDs per year.
Opportunities for additional RSDs are likely
CEng status.
Currently employed, or relevant experience in civilian industry.
Practical Project Management experience. Some experience and appreciation of commercial aspects of engineering.
Selection will be made by APC as part of No5 Spring 23 Board.
