Domestic Considerations: Army HQ has implemented SWOW so remote working is possible but, in working regularly at SECRET the selected candidate can expect to be in office roughly 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist Deep Effects input to support a xDLOD and cross functional approach to capability development.
2.  Provide specialist Deep Effects advice across the Futures Directorate. 
3.  Deliver and manage Deep Effects-related Innovation, Research and Experimentation (IRE) projects.
4.  Inform, support and coordinate Deep Effects IRE.
5.  Cohere the Land approach to Full Spectrum Targeting.  Represent Land at the Defence Targeting Enterprise (DTE) WG and SG.
6.  Develop future capability choices in line with Force Output Concepts and L1 CONEMP development.
7.  Support the development of future concepts in Future Force Development (FFD) Branch. 
8.  Analyse threat, technology and policy to develop concepts.
ICSC(L).
Army/E2/Cbt or CS
BSc - A degree of technical competency would be highly advantageous.
Op Experience - Will benefit from a breadth of operational experience to provide valuable context & credibility.
Staff Experience - Army or other FLC HQ.
Post-SUC - for credibility
Cap and Acq - Technical experience in capability or resource planning is desirable.

The successful candidate willl need the following attributes:
