RSDs - Reserve Service Days

Vacancy detail

Domestic Considerations: Up to 44 RSDs per year that includes Reserve training weekends and 15-day Annual Deployment Exercise usually in May/Jun of each year.
Position Role: 2IC Junior Div required to develop the leadership potential of selected students and Army Reserve potential officers, and to promote the  Army's ethos and career opportunities in order to secure commitment to the Army, first as officers, but also as future leaders in their chosen profession who will champion the Army in society.
Responsibilities:
1.  Deputise for OC B Coy with the unit focus for all Officer Cadets undertaking training for Commission.
2.  Administration and execution of all modular training stage A for undergraduate officer cadets.
3.  Enforcement of Health, Safety & Environmental regulations and policies appertaining to training/facilities and ensuring that all necessary Risk Assessments have been carried out before training commences.
4.  Career advice to officer cadets in year two of training and beyond.
5.  Identify suitable officer cadets for attendance at AOSB Briefings, Main Boards and commissioning.
6.  Career management of all Army Reserve Officers and Soldiers under command.
7.  Internal Audit Team member as required.
8.  Support and validate Corps training and other commitments as directed by OC Jnr Div.

Any additional instructor qualifications
RAB
Volunteer Reserve post employed on RSDs.
Must be an exemplar of the values and standards of the British Army & recommended for employment in a Basic Training establishment.
