Vacancy detail

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Network relationships with stakeholders pan Defence and Army to understand demand and placement endorsement.
  2. Manage and deliver External Placements in line with relevant ACSO and Defence policies.
  3. Oversee the delivery of core EP talent development opportunities (incl. Forward Institute, Windsor Leadership Trust, Female Talent Development Programme).
  4. In addition manage and deliver In-Service Degrees and the Defence Academy Post-Graduate opportunities for Army personnel in line with relevant policies.
  5. Coordinate selection, career management and MS issues with candidates and APC to enable talent management.
  6. Provide benefit realisation for delivered programmes through assurance and evaluation, ensuring RoI for Army stakeholders.
  7. Provide agile support and co-ordination within resources to related APSG education programmes and initiatives.
  8. Line Manage 1 x WO

 

ICSC (L) or ICSC (LR) desirable and Masters or Level 7 Qualification (in accordance with the Regulated Qualifications Framework) desirable. Applicants not holding ICSC (L) or ICSC (LR) will be encouraged to complete ICSC (LR) whilst in post. SG2 preferred due to senior stakeholder engagement. Pers CF experience/awareness is important. The incumbent must be a confident and engaging person who can credibly represent the Army across industry/academic sectors.
 Army HQ experience desirable, plus an understanding of APC processes (esp CFM) would also be beneficial.
