Unit Role:  Reserve Light Cavalry Regiment.  To prepare suitably trained, equipped and motivated officers and soldiers for operations both overseas and in the UK in support of Regular units, as individuals and as contingents.

Position Role: Sub unit lead for Training and Continued Professional Development.

Responsibilities:
1.    Responsible for individual RAC training to ensure a robust and appropriately manned sub unit orbat with correctly trained and qualified Light Cavalry crews.
2.    Responsible for sub unit collective training in accordance with the Regimental Training Directive and wider RAC policy as directed by the OC.
3.    Provide assurance to the CoC on sub unit training delivery.
4.    Support the PSI's and sub unit instructors in the delivery of the squadron training programme.
5.    Provide Dismounted Close Combat expertise and lead on Individual Training Requirements
6.    Be prepared to undertake any other tasks as required by the OC.
