Vacancy detail

1. Monitoring of JME (JAMES Managed Equipment) history, predominantly focussing on vehicles, but including any Regtl eqpt managed on JAMES.  This should include checking of ATUDs, maintenance events and servicing dates to be correct and authorised by appropriate individuals.  Correlation with relevant vehicle documents should also be checked. 
2. Act as the Single Point of Contact to SQMS representatives. Provide assistance on JAMES and throughout vehicle transactions. 
3. Lead and provide expertise to the Regt as the (UAA) Unit Authorised Administrator.  
4. Maintain and utilise MJDI as a Material Accountant.  
5. Take a leading role in preparing for external inspections as an ongoing process since the publication of the previous inspection reports. 
6. Provide advice and guidance to SQMS’ enabling them to deliver training to all ranks on the use of JAMES and correct procedures to be followed before, during and after vehicle activity. 
7. Regular checking of Regtl practices against LEES, UECD and the ECI Question set. 
8. Act as link between QM Dept and delegated ES Units to create an additional level of assurance and attend any EC forums/meetings on behalf of the Regt in order to highlight current and/or best practices and issues. 
9. Be prepared to cover local (UK based) deployments (ATP) to oversee and manage vehicle transactions, liaise with supplying units and manage demand and receipt of equipment. 
10. Be prepared to support the Regiment during weekend training activities, regimentally required Currency & Competency (CPD), and during the Regiment’s Annual Training Period (ATP). 
11. Carryout the duties of Unit Safety Advisor and provide competent SHEF advice and assurance to the CoC.  
12. To produce the Unit SHEF Action Plan; assist with and prepare for external Army Safety and Environmental Management System Audits, Force Health Protection Audits, and internal Sub-Unit inspections. 
13. Facilitate Unit Biannual Health and Safety Meetings on behalf of the Commanding Officer.

Responsible to the QM for the day-to-day running of technical stores and all accounts associated with those areas. *E, *U & *L. And the management of A and B Vehicle Fleet through external transfer processes (POGO).   Monitoring of JME (JAMES Managed Equipment) history, predominantly focussing on vehicles, but including any Regt’l eqpt managed on JAMES.  This should include checking of ATUDs, maintenance events and servicing dates to be correct and authorised by appropriate individuals.  Correlation with relevant vehicle documents should also be checked. Lead and provide oversight to the CoC on all matters SHEF matters, acting as the Regt’l POC. Additional responsibilities include assisting with and prepare for external Army Safety and Environmental Management System Audits, Force Health Protection Audits, and internal Sub-Unit inspections, and Facilitate Unit Biannual Health and Safety Meetings on behalf of the Commanding Officer
