Unit Role: Reserve War Fighting Infantry Light Role Unit
Position Role: Light Role Infantry Company Second in Command.
Responsibilities: Coy 2IC, responsible for providing command, leadership and administration to the Sub-Unit as directed by the Officer Commanding.
1. PCBC - Platoon Commanders Battle Course (Regular or Reserve)
2. JOLP 1&2 (Officer Education)
3. JOTAC and CWC (Officer Education)
1. Range Qualifications - LFTT preferred or RMQ (static ranges)
2. Full UK Cat B Driving Licence
3. Infantry Experience - Previous experience of working with the INFANTRY and/or Reserves is desirable. The role requires an individual with drive, determination and strong leadership skills who can work unsupervised and with initiative to deliver results to the Coy.
The position will be boarded using the CM Portal/OneNote within 6 weeks of post closing date.

Pre Appt/Deployment Trg: This can be done post appointment; must complete Security Clearance and have a workable knowledge of all applications aligned to the role including Churchill, Muster, Target and JPA. Having any range (LFTT/RMQ) qualifications would be of great use to the Coy and Battalion.
Domestic Considerations: Must be within a manageable commute to Ashford, Kent and able to travel on duty, as required, for residential courses and exercises, including on overseas OTX. In addition, show positive commitment to the Reserves and complete the minimum RSD requirements of 27 days. Training nights are Wednesdays 1930-2130.
