Vacancy detail

1. Analyse the role requirements for all aspects of pan-Army Substance Misuse (SM) education IAW policy and APSA D&G (Pers Pol - Pers Svcs).
2. Oversee and incorporate Army SM education into the generic training pipeline (e.g. BT, Career Cses, etc) and any other future requirements.
3. Design, develop and maintain DSAT documentation to support Pers Pol(A) courses. Be prepared to develop and lead on Pers Services courses.
4. Fulfil selected SM education TDT duties on behalf of SO3 SM, ARITC & LWC, as well as additional wider TDT taskings on behalf of OC TDT or SO3 SM Ed.
5. Conduct additional training development and support TDT assurance/evaluation including ExVals, unit and  training visits and review APSA deliverables.
6. Assist and contribute to DSAT governance meetings, support officer MJPs and relevant WGs.
7. Support wider behavioural change, appointment  and PET (e.g unexpectable behaviours, welfare officer cse) Trg and Ed within the Pers Pol TRA portfolio.
8. When required provide MS input for SM Trainer/Delivery SNCOs, and promote/support an inclusive, collaborative working environment
9. Facilitiates cross-branch and TDT collaboration, building and maintaining connections to create trusted working relationships across Pers Pol(A) and wider Army.  

Training.
Desirable  - Training Needs Analysis (TNA), Course Evaluation - ExVal and DSAT Manager.
 
Experience. 
Highly Desirable - Training Development Team (TDT) and/or Course Design Cell experience will be highly desirable. 

Conversant in AGILE methodologies. 

If not SQEP in some of the aspects above then in role training is possible via DCTS and Army HQ Induction process.

Experience.
Role experience in either of the following areas/aspects will be a distinct advantage: 
A SNCO in an training establishment HQ (ARITC, LWC, ITG etc)  
Role within training design and development
