Domestic considerations: Nil.
Position role: Primary staff offr within Fd Army Health & Deployability, promoting lifestyles, preventative health and an SME focus on injury prevention (eg MSKI). 
Responsibilities: 
1.  Support SO1 Deployability in enhancing Fd Army deployability through the Army’s “4 Themes of Health”.
2.  Act as the principle, technical SME for HQ Fd Army in all Physical Development (PD) matters (PT, Sport, AT, and Injury Prevention). 
3. Monitor and analyse Fd Army health & deployability (H&D) trends to promote and deliver best practice initiatives (eg System for Health).
4. Stakeholder liaison (eg SHA(A), Prof Dev, HQ RAPTC) to cohere understanding for subsequent delivery of H&D initiatives. 
5. As the principle staff offr with the H&D team, cohere team outputs and deputise for SO1 Deployability/DACOS Pers.
6. Lead for the preparation of the Fd Army Health Committee and subordinate Working Group.
7. Line manage the WO1 Health & Deployability. 
8. Provide SME direction in all areas of Audit and Inspection of PD activity across the Fd Army.
