Domestic considerations:  Post holder must live within a suitable commuting distance from Bristol                                                   Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                                                                 1. Lead and deliver continuous G1 Readiness iot facilitate the ability for unit personnel to deploy; this is to include supporting the unit CoC in the maintenance and accuracy of data held on JPA and the effective use of JPA and JPA MI.                                                             2.  Advise the CO on the management and use of SNPF and Public Funds, including ECOPF, iot ensure compliance with Regulatory Bodies and MOD Policy.                                                                                              3.  Advise CO on all changes in G1/SPS policy that affect G1 Readiness, communicate and interpret complex G1/SPS policy to the unit’s Comd Gp and subsequently to unit personnel, to ensure compliance for the G1A.                                                                      4.  Assist the 2IC/TM in the management of the Unit Budget iaw BLB direction and MOD policy and maintain the G1 element of the Unit’s Risk Register.                                                                            5.  Conduct internal assurance of the SNPF as the Internal Auditor, Public Funds as the Imprest Checking Officer (ICO) and I-Expense Auditor, and G1 personnel administration and pay through the conduct of robust G1/SPS management checks iaw the Unit Administration Manual (UAM); including the effective utilisation of JPA MI.                                                                                                  6.  Line manager for all Unit military and civilian HR/administration staff; including the delivery of trg based upon the conduct of local Training Needs Analysis (TNA).                                                         7.  Unit Resettlement and Briefing Officer.                                                                               8.  Information Manager and Data Protection Officer, including the co-ordination and implementation of the AIAR.

Whilst Bn HQ is based in Bristol, applicants can be based at any of the other sub-unit locations in Newbury, Southampton, Exeter or Newport.
