Vacancy detail

Responsible for the career management of all soldiers.

To provide the leadership and executive management of the Band.

To ensure that the musical training and standards of the Band is to the highest level of attainment and in accordance with the policy directives of DRCAM and the Commanding Officer of 3 Royal Anglian.

To ensure that all non-musical training is carried out in accordance with the relevant Individual Training Requirement (ITR).


To ensure that the standards of morale, discipline and welfare of all Band personnel is maintained. To provide advice to Regimental/Divisional/Corps/District Headquarters/Formations on all musical matters.

Be fully conversant of all Battle Honours and Regimental music, traditions, and history of the Royal Anglian Regiment and its forbear Regiments.

DRCAM qualified as DoM
Experience
Must have served in a Regular Army Band or Reserve Band as DoM.

Post located in the Army Reserve
 Centre.

 As the IR study recommendations are implemented the Army Reserve will be required to take on a far more prominent and forward-leaning posture.  The Director of Music is fundamental in helping to deliver this and must be able, mentally and practically, to remain abreast of developments and requirements and all in an era of resource constraint.
