Domestic Considerations: This is an FTRS(LC) role. Within commutable distance of Camden London (HTD entitled) although some flexibility to work remotely to meet unit outputs.

Position Role: Executive Officer (XO). Principal staff officer in ULOTC, responsible as a chief of staff.

1.    Lead for planning and delivery oversight for all unit training activities on behalf of the CO, act as the unit COS.
2.    As part of a culture of continuous improvement, manage the Quality Improvement Action Plan (QIAP) through review of all training conducted and Officer Cadet INVALS to inform future training delivery.
3.    Champion continuous personal development opportunities for all staff and Officer Cadets, including Duke of Edinburgh Award accreditation.
4.    Lead all assurance activities (including OFSTED preparation) and validate all training delivery.
5.    Manage and audit the unit training budgets, additional funds allocated to the unit from the public purse and oversee the maintenance of attendance registers.
6.    Oversee unit risk assessments for all activity, ensuring risk is managed to ALARP and generate the annual self-assessment report.
7.    Manage and mentor PSIs in their support and delivery of sub-unit training activities.
8.    Deputise for the CO on all matters when and where required.
9.    ULOTC D&I Lead; promote D&I, providing training opportunities and support Staff/OCdts as required, managing any complaints in line with the SCD.
