An opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary and diverse HR team: Leading on all activities associated with managing the Defence Digital Military Establishment of approximately 650 Tri Service Positions. To include TLB approvals, SLIM, JPA and workforce planning. We are seeking a collaborative and decisive team member who is comfortable prioritising workload and excels at building relationships with Senior Leaders.

 

Responsibilities:

Maintain and make amendments to the Military Workforce Requirement, in conjunction with UK Strategic Command and in accordance with Single Service Policy (sS) and Defence Digital Strategic Workforce Plan. Lead on any Compensating reductions, workforce growth, rebalancing, or efficiency measures. 

 

Contribute to the Defence Digital People Strategy and Strategic Workforce Plan to ensure a Whole Force approach.

 

Contribute to the development of HR led Employee Engagement and Diversity and inclusion strategies, ensuring the Military perspective is heard in an environment where Civil Servants and Contractors are the majority.

 

Lead on the Defence Digital Military Competition & Rotation Posts by monitoring data and to achieve effective resourcing, within set timelines.

 

Lead the Defence Digital Alignment process for OF3, OF4 & OF5 grades of Military Personnel.

 

Lead the FORCEGEN Military trawls process including all Court Martial requests from Strategic Command.

 

Liaise with Defence Digital ‘Military Chiefs’ on any issues with Trade and how it may affect the filling of posts in Defence Digital, including Liaison with manning authorities and liaison with Site Admin units.

 

Lead on mobilisation and exploitation of Reserves in Defence Digital until the newly formed Defence Digital Reserve cell is established.

 

Line Manage a job share EO post.    

 

Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.

Must be an OF3 of any specialisation. OF2 applicants with a recommend for the next higher rank in their most recent OJAR will be considered.

 

OF4 applicants, if successful, will only be paid as and wear the rank of OF3.

 

In-date SC required.


Experience of MS, SLIM and JPA. 

Experience of using Microsoft Office applications, Sharepoint and a familiarity of MOD ways of working.
