Vacancy detail

Domestic Considerations: upto 180 RSDs per year. Army Reserve post, some travel and overnight duty may be required.

Position Role:  Squadron 2IC responsible for the Sqn MS and other J1/3/5 activity.

Responsibilities:

1. Deputise for the Squadron Commander in their absence.

2. Planning and co-ordination of all squadron career courses, MATTS, Adv trg, and leadership trg. This is to include the production and maintenance of a squadron training plan.

3. The initiation and control of all SJARs and MPARS within the squadron.

4. The control of all aspects of people management and squadron welfare issues (as directed by OC).

5. The focal point for completion and update of standing orders / instructions, SHEF and Equipment care within the squadron.

6. To ensure that all manning returns and penalty statements are completed accurately and ensuring their timely dispatch.

7. The Sqn Ops Officer, Security Officer and EDA.

8. Overall responsibility for Air Safety within the Sqn.
