Domestic Considerations: FTRS HC (RSG) uniformed post, some travel and overnight duty will be required.  Successful applicant will need to reside within the Post locations / region.
                                                                                                                                      Position Role:  To be the Fd Army HQ regional Military Contract Monitoring Officer (MCMO) in respect of the Service Provision and Transformation Contract with Babcock DSG (this is engineering maintenance and repair).                                                                        Ensure safe, efficient and maximised use of established In Barrack Equipment Support (IBES) capabilities in East England. Be responsible for either the end to end contracted disputes or customer feedback processes ensuring resolution is reached and outcomes recorded ot for sampling, monitoring and reporting of Eqpt Programmes. Carry out departmental staff work as required (drafting of policies or processes). Carry out other assurance activities alongside DE&S / DVSA staffs.

Post will be able to employ, through agreement with SO1 Contracted Field Support, the Army HQ New ways of Working which allow staff to achieve outputs by agreed times whilst maintaing a work / life balance

Staff Experience.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Depth of KSE of Engineering processes and activities.

Understanding of Commercial constraints and processes (training will be provided).

Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Auditing (training will be provided)

Member of a Professional Institute, minimum Eng Tech.

A good understanding of ES procedures in the Field Force and at 2nd Line.

Experience and detailed knowledge of ES within the military environment would benefit the incumbent of this post in understanding priorities, responsibilities and capabilities of BDSG and their sub contractors
