Domestic Considerations: This is an FTRS(LC) role. Within commutable distance of Camden London (HTD entitled) although some flexibility to work remotely to meet unit outputs.

Position Role: Adjutant/RAO. Principal staff officer to the Commanding Officer. Recruiting, nurturing and managing all Officer Cadets and Reserve potential officers in ULOTC. 

Responsibilities:
1. Lead for unit G1, supported by the RAO (A Res OF3) and RAWO. Co-ordinate all G1 activities, including monthly G1 and quarterly UHC meetings, maintenance of a workforce plot, timely MS and transfers.
2. Provide career management and advice for all Officers at ULOTC.
3. Act as the ULOTC Young Officer Nurturing Advisor (YONA), working closely with NRC, AOSB, LONDIST and London YODAs to support OCdts and Reserve potential Officers in the officer commissioning pipeline. Co-ordinate all AOSB applications and course loading with RMAS as required.
4. Lead for all ULOTC Bursars, producing timely R2 as well as encouraging new Bursars to the schemes.
5. To mentor Junior Reserve Officers and Senior OCdts in the delivery of their roles as Subalterns and under officers respectively.
6. Ensure the highest standards of conduct through example and inspiration. Act as the Unit Alcohol advisor.
7. Run and co-ordinate all Unit visits including Royal Visits, Alumni events and support to Unit functions.
8. Deploy and support the unit on selection weekends, the 16-day Annual Deployment Exercise, and any other training serials where appropriate.
9. Any other duty, including academic, community, cultural, extramural or sporting as directed by the Commanding Officer or DComdt UOTCs (RMAS).
