Domestic Considerations:  The PSAO is expected to be in a position to deploy on OTXs and Regimental deployments as required. 

Position Role:  Management of relationship between Regiment and civilian employers of Army Reserve personnel and administration SME for the Sqn.

Responsibilities:
1. Supervision of military permanent staff and management of civilian permanent staff.
2. Advise OC on all matters relating to permanent staff; facilities management and routine maintenance, security, stores, administration, vehicles and RFCA estates matters.
3. Efficient management and accounting of all Sqn stores and unit administrative matters.
4. Liaison with RFCA in regard to all policy and routine matters in relation to the ARC and recruiting.
5. Key point of contact regarding facilities management and ARC security.
6. Management and supervision of servicing repairs to unit vehicles.
7. Management and supervision of all financial matters and non-public fund accounts.
8. Promote an inclusive culture within area of responsibility, working to increase understanding and engagement through education and initiative.

Job descritpion: The PSAO is responsible for the adminitsrative management of the SU. The PSAO is the permanent presence within the ARC and regularly engages with the Adjt, civilian staff, external agencies and other key stakeholders to ensure the SU is being administrated appropriately. Whilst the job will see the PSAO in working regular hours (Mon - Fri 0800 - 1700), there is an expectation for the PSAO to engage with the Regiment and attend Regimental Training Weekends, Continuous Training events and, deploy on OTXs should the need arise.
