Domestic Considerations:

RSDs: 27 days with the opportunity for more RSDs if required. 

Army Reserve post, some travel, some Tuesday drill nights and weekend exercise attendance with some overnight duty will be required. The successful applicant can be located in any of the Regiments Sub-Unit locations which include St Helens, Bolton, Manchester, Liverpool, Wolverhampton, Nottingham.
                                                                                                                                    

Position Role:  Regimental Training Officer 103 Regt RA.                                                  
                                                                                                            

Perform Training Officer duties to support G7 output at Training Nights,Weekend Exercises and other Training activity. 

Responsibilities:


1.  Assist the XO to inspire 103 Regt RA Reservists through a continuous G7 Department Transform Project review of the Training Offer.


2. Assist the XO in the planning and execution of training in accordance with the Unit Training Directive.


3. Provide support and guidance to Reservists on the availability of military training, submission of course bids and other training administrative matters.                                                                             

4. Produce and annually review generic templates of an Administrative Instruction, UK & Overseas Exercise Instruction and Post Exercise Report for the Sharepoint portal.


5.  'Highlight the Reserve Training Offer' advertising course availability and civilian accreditation, communicating the Army career and personal development opportunities available to Reservists.


6. Promote an inclusive culture within area of responsibility, working to increase understanding and engagement through education and initiative within the Regiment.


7. Other duties as directed by the Comd Offr and/or XO.
