Vacancy detail

Responsibilities:
1. Assure the delivery of medical care within the unit on behalf of the CO. Provide health advice to the CO
2. Conduct primary healthcare (PHC) for mil pers and their dependants and for entitled pers when deployed.
3. Provide pre-hospital emergency care (PHEC). Provide occupational healthcare incl force preparation.
4. Provide force health protection incl public health, tropical medicine, CBRN medicine.
5. Be an advocate for the health of CPERS and refugees.
6. Conduct medical support planning for the unit.
7. Command the Regimental Aid Post (RAP) incl clinical supervision and development of pers.
8. Engage in Civil Military Effect (CME) incl civ/mil capacity building and humanitarian support.

Current Licence to Practise and be on the GP Register.

Must have familiarity with the Defence Medical Services Intermediate Healthcare capabilities for mental healthcare and musculoskeletal injury management.
