Domestic Considerations:  Must have the availability to be contactable daily and some weekend work is required in support of the Army Reservists.

Responsibilities: MT Bdr/Cpl, is to assist the Reserve MT SNCO/MTO with the control and day to day operation of MT. To ensure that transport requests are satisfied, in accordance with JSP 800 is to be used as a guideline for the road transport management appointment shown, and commensurate to meet the Regiments needs. The responsibilities are as follows: 

1. Hold and maintain F/MT 1001A (ATUD) and Drivers Hours Record Sheet as per the JSP 800.
2. Control the use of F/MT 1001A (ATUD) at Bty level.
3. Ensure drivers in the Bty are trained to the competent standard in accordance with JSP 800 and are familiar with vehicles they are to drive/operate.
4. Ensure that correct equipment documentation is being used throughout the Bty.
5. Maintain equipment documents for all vehicles/equipment not fully incorporated onto the JAMES 2 MIS, to record the use, maintenance, and inspections.
6. Ensure that user “Level 1 Tasks” are being completed promptly by the driver/operator and subsequently cleared on JAMES by trained MT JAMES users.
7. Ensure all faults are reported using the ATUD/JAMES. Ensure personnel involved with fault reporting procedure are familiar with procedures in UECD.
