Vacancy detail

Lead on the Defence Lines of Development (DLoD) management of Mil Eng-funded change programmes for Cbt bridging.

1. To act as a central focus for development, integration and delivery of future Mil Eng capabilities across Cbt bridging DLoDs. 

2. Plan and ensure input of DLoD activity in the Through Life Capability Management (TLCM) of Mil Eng capabilities. 

3. Advise DE&S teams on military issues relating to equipment capability across DLoD integration.

4. Manage the capture and specification of the DLoD requirements that make up the SRD.

5. Maintain dialogue with Sponsors, Users and industry, international working groups, TDUs and research institutions. 

6. Inform and support Working Groups and Programme Boards.

7. Identify and inform risk on DLoD management issues.

An understanding of Defence Acquisition is beneficial

Recent experience of Armd Engr Sqn and/ or Armd Inf Bde

Experience in Cap & Acq Mgmt appointment

Experience of MoD, HoC or DE&S highly desirable.
Two positions available.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of next generation Army capabilities.

Scope to attend field demonstrations, liaise with industry and gain FKSE accredition. 

Flexible, part-time and remote-working available as a stand-alone task or alongside other Reserve duties.

Start and end dates are flexible.

90 RSDs, with option to transition to an Additional Duties Contract (ADC).

ARRG/VERR/ADC Project tasks are not WF authorised positions.   They are a temporary liability created specifically for a task and of a short duration; up to 12 months @ up to 90 RSDs, and therefore boarding and selection for these jobs does not attract substantive promotion or granting of AHR or SUPA.   A JPAN can be rank ranged to facilitate selection in a lower rank than advertised.    However, the intent is to fill the positions in the advertised rank and in only exceptional circumstances will a lower rank be selected to run to board.
