Domestic Considerations: Up to 44 RSDs per year that includes Reserve training weekends and 15-day Annual Deployment Exercise usually in May/Jun of each year.
Position Role: 2IC Inter (A Coy) Div required to develop the leadership potential of selected students and Army Reserve potential officers, and to promote the Army's ethos and career opportunities in order to secure commitment to the Army, first as officers, but also as future leaders in their chosen profession who will champion the Army in society.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist OC Inter Div with the unit focus for all officer cadets' undertaking training for commission.
2. Administration and execution of all modular training stages B-D for undergraduate officer cadets.
3. Enforcement of Health, Safety & Environmental regulations and policies appertaining to training/facilities and ensuring that all necessary Risk Assessments have been carried out before training commences.
4. Career advice to officer cadets in year two of training and beyond.
5 Plan and coordinate Special to Arm training.
6. Identify suitable officer cadets for attendance at AOSB Briefing, Main Boards and ResCC.
7. Career management of all Res Soldiers’ under command.
8. Support and Validate Corps training and other commitments as directed by OC Inter Div.
