The newly created Capability Safety Group (CSG) sits within the Strategic Centre of Army HQ, working directly to DCGS. The CSG has been created to professionalise the Army’s approach to capability safety, ensuring safety is at the forefront of all stages of capability delivery, able to advise future capability investment decisions across the Army, and ultimately change the Army’s safety culture.

The CSG is new was only at IOC in Aug 22. This post is one of five newly created SO2 military posts within it (the CSG is 37 people in total). This is a fabulous opportunity for an individual to really make their mark in a new organisation that is looking to professionalise and culturally change the Army's approach to safety.

The individual selected must be able to assimilate complicated and complex technical information, be comfortable operating around senior officers (up to 3* - DCGS) and have the capacity to work on high profile, no fail tasks. An eye for detail, sound judgement and diplomacy are character traits which will suit this role.

Hybrid working (from office, remotely, and home) encouraged in line with Army HQ working practices.

This opportunity is closed to applications.
