Vacancy detail

1.    Ideally an assignment for a second tour RCMO, will be expected to run a variety of tasks normally carried out by APC.
2.    Provide Career Management (CM) support and advice to the CoC and soldiers, including Regular and Reserve personnel, regardless of cap badge.
3.    Understanding of the CM doctrinal complexities of managing multiple TACOS. Remaining up to date with all changes to policy process and procedures. 
4.    Carry out all assurance activities in accordance with ARMS. 
5.    Unit focus for professional and personal development advice on soldier education and vocational accreditation (Numeracy & Literacy & ALDP). 
6.    Act as the unit focus for resettlement advice for all personnel. 
7.    Manage contracts, ADC application and JPA action, FTRS application and renewals, NRPS renewals/conversions to FTRS and VEng conversions and all transfers in and out of the unit. 
8.    Manage the appraisals acting as appraisal administrator, finalise all appraisals Pte-WO1 and quality assurance for all appraisals. 
9.    Promotions/appointment: 
    Responsible for all internal board preparation. 
    Act as Secretary for internal boards 
    Notifying APC/ Bde on the outcome of boards and complete any JPA action directed by APC. 
10.    Conduct appraisal training yearly at sub-unit location with all 1 & 2 ROs ensuring that all personnel needing appraisal training are educated accordingly. 
11.    Carry out briefings to all personnel on CM change bi-annually and FCRs at ATE or sub-unit locations.
RCMO Course, Res Career Management Course, Driving license (Min Cat B). Computer literate and experienced in the use of JPA.  
Diversity and Inclusion Advisor, CNO / CVO, Resettlment Information Staff (RIS Course)  TRiM Coordinator. If not qualified, attendance on these courses will be required soon after appointment.
FTRS Application through to boarding
Fulfilling a full range of duties based in one location (BHQ Wolverhampton). However, due to the dispersed nature of the unit, travel to sub-unit locations to deliver presentations and career reviews will be required. Due to the nature of a Reserve unit, this appointment will include evening and weekend work. In addition, the Reservist will have liability for compulsory separated service to complete mandated training courses necessary for the current post or future progression.
