Army Training Unit (West) Exeter UK - CMT 1 - this post is to support Phase one training suppling Med cover and Training recruits - Cpl, Sgt

Responsibilities:

1. Provide advanced first aid and use advanced resuscitation techniques inc the administration of non-controlled drugs ordered by a Med officer.

2. Provide medical support on operations and exercises inclusive of Med Evac in hostile conditions. 

3. Carry out basic nursing procedures and prolonged care, whilst initiating and maintaining casualty and equipment/supply documentation.

4. Basic diagnostics, recognising abnormalities in casualty observations, body appearances and consciousness level, and reporting findings

5. Trained in Army environmental health issues at unit level.

6. Provide medical training to the Army.

7. Establishing field medical facilities and maintain and supervise the maintenance of medical equipment.

8. Maintain CCE and CPD compliance, ensure CMT portfolio is accredited by a Medical Officer annually

Candidate must have a positive recommendation to work in a Phase 1 Trg Establishment in last SJAR

Location: Cardiff (with opportunities to support courses in Exeter)
Commitment: 50 days per year, including evenings, weekends, and 9-day foundation courses or 15-day battle camps

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to support Phase 1 training for Army reservists. Based primarily in Ypres Company, Exeter, you will also have the opportunity to support training delivery in Falaise Company, Cardiff. As part of a satellite training location, we offer reservists the flexibility to train locally over weekends and through modular courses.
