Comms Op - 200 HQ Sqn / 261 Sqn (Milton Keynes and Peterborough)

To operate and provide communications in support of their commander’s main effort, utilising current in service CIS. Responsibilities include:  

Set up, operation, maintenance and use of Communications equipment.

Utilise Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems.

Provide support to other users of Communications equipment.

Driving to and assisting the setting up of Command posts.

158 Regt RLC is a Regional Army Reserve unit.

Due to the Nature of the COMMS Tp, whilst Job is co-located at Peterborough or Milton Keynes, there is a mandatory requirement to participate in Key Regt Training for COMMS OPs at 200 HQ Sqn in Peterborough. 

Annual Bounty will be awarded on achievement of mandatory training requirements.

The Appt is allocated 27 x RSD, additional ST are available.

Evening and weekend work will be required.

Regular to Reserve and inter cap badge transfers will be considered, but a full re-trade will be required within 24-Months of taking up the appointment.
