Position Role:
SO2 J7 A Trg supports SO1 J7 Trg & Assurance for Strategic Base Outload (SBO) related capability across Defence.  The post requires extensive involvement with the Ops Directorate, Def Log, PJHQ, FLCs, Op theatres and DE&S 2* OCs. 

Responsibilities:
1. DSCOM desk level lead for Individual and Collective training requirements and associated interaction with DefSp/JtSp and Joint Warfare (JW).
2.  Assist SO1 J7 Trg & Assurance in the provision of Assuring the SBO capability in accordance with Defence Policy, working with PJHQ, MoD, DE&S, Def Log and FLCs.
3.  Develop and deliver SB Assurance Audits through targeted investigations and ad hoc analysis and assessment of SBO policy and process.
4.  Produce investigative reports with recommendations and develop and monitor action plans for SB stakeholder community. This is to include how effective LOGFAS is being used. 
5.  Forecast J7 team Audit activity and resources through the production of annual Assurance Audit delivery plan.
6.  Maintain the SBO Stakeholder Matrix and when required.
7.  Support SO1 J7 in the assurance of Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Industry Based Agreements (IBA) with Industry Partners in support of a SBO.  
8.  When required, deputise for SO1 J7 and represent the SB at pan-Defence meetings as required

LOGFAS - Whilst essential to the post LOGFAS/ADAMS & EVE/CORSOM Trg will be provided once in post..

Performance:

1.   Ability to deliver consistently high levels of quality staff work and support
2.   Ability to think strategically and influence future logistic plans with regard to the SBO. 
3.   Good oral and written skills are required. Capable of briefing and communicating up to 2*.  IT literate.

Experience of Logs in the deployed environment at OF 3 level is an advantage.

MOD/PJHQ/FLC - Prior staff experience will be a considerable advantage.

Prior staff experience within a Training environment would be an advantage
