Unit Role: 

Reserve Infantry - 6 RIFLES is to provide formed companies and individuals for operations, act as a basis for regeneration and maintain strong links to the civil community.

Position Role: 

Med Sjt at 6 RIFLES. 

Responsibilities:

1. Directly responsible to the MO, supported by PSI for all medical matters.
2. Management of personnel and production of Annual Appraisals.
3. Assist with the conduct of Training Events including the planning of unit exercises.
4. Provide clinical oversight and compliance of all medical personnel, with the MO/Nurse.
5. Assisting in the validation of clinical portfolios
6. Assist in ensuring all medical equipment is in date and the require levels are in place
7. Assist in validation of all mandatory training, portfolios, courses and instructor qualifications on the training Matrix systems
8. Provide advice and guidance for the CoC regarding all medical matters 
9. Ensure all medical personnel are operating within their scope of practice
9. Support in the placements of medical staff to meet the requirements of their scope of practice
