Vacancy detail

Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OF2/OR9/OR8 to serve as SO3 Comms at DCDC Shrivenham on ADC Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 July 2024. (TaCoS to be confirmed on appointment between post sponsor and applicant)

Unit Function    

Act as MOD’s independent think tank.


Position Role    

SO3 Comms: Support the communications effort around Future Operating Concept and Global Strategic Trends 7 

Responsibilities

1. Responsible to SO1 Comms Manager for development of Future Operating Concept (FOC) comms campaign plan.
2. Responsible to SO1 Comms Manager for delivery of FOC comms campaign plan.
3. Responsible to SO1 Comms Manager for development of Global Strategic Trends 7 comms campaign plan.
4. Responsible to SO1 Comms Manager for delivery of GST 7 comms campaign plan.
5. Responsible to SO1 Comms Manager for stakeholder engagement for FOC and GST7.
6. Responsible to SO1 Comms Manager for international stakeholder engagement and comms for FOC and GST7.
7. Responsible to AH Futures for delivery of GST7 internal and external conferences, seminars and events.
8. Responsible to AH Concepts for delivery of FOC internal and external conferences.

Must be an OF3/OR9/OR8 of any specialisation.

Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.

Security Clearance - SC

Defence Comms - Proficiency Level - Practitioner
