Vacancy detail

This is about organisational learning - primarily within the Field Army.  The role is to capture and exploit trg lessons to improve operational performance, enhance training delivery and inform force development.  This interesting post contributes directly to the optimisation of the Field Army.  The incumbent will: collate and analyse feedabck from several sources; contribute to the team's analysis of thematic trends; support Military Judgement Panels; assist with the exploitation and communicaiton of the outputs; and leverage DLIMS and other systems to support this work. 

Unit Role:  LWC acts as CFA’s agent in cohering and driving agile adaptation of the Fd Army, preparing it for dynamic and complex operating environments.
Position Role:  Capture and exploit trg lessons to improve operational performance, enhance training delivery and inform force development with focus on Collective Training Level Golf, Reserves & Experimentation activity.
Responsibilities:  
1.    Liaise closely with Op Gps and Fd Army to improve data capture of trg lessons from experimentation activity, the Army Reserve and collective trg level G.   
2.    (As above) as POC for DCLPA and S&T within LWC. 
3.    Support the optimisation of the Fd Army activity by analysing and exploiting Lessons, Observations and Good Practice from training/experimentation. 
4.    Support the development of exploitation products. 
5.    Support twice yearly training MJPs, specific Exercise MJPs, Training Lessons Symposia, QPRR and End of year training reviews. 
6.    Influence officer and soldier Pre-Employment Training to improve awareness and completion of Organisational Learning and the Lessons process. 
7.    Support the development of a Marketing/Recruiting strategy for Trainng Lessons. 

Staff Experience.
ICSC(L) Reg or Reserve course is essential but can be completed on arrival
Familiarity with IT
Familiarity with Trg  
Trg experience:  combined Arms preferred but not essential.  
Previous Ops / Ops Sp experience preferred but not essential.  
Familiarity with the "lived experience" of Fd Army units and organisations preferred for credibility during regular liaison.  
FTRS Application through to boarding
An individual is sought who wishes to belong to a small, collaborative and dynamic team which is focused on improving the lived experience for Field Army units and organisations.  An honest and determined contribution to organisational learning is required
