Vacancy detail

1. Updating and maintenance of Army Clothing Scales and assisting the Defence Clothing (DC) team, DE&S with amendments to and implementation of Defence Logistic Framework.  Maintaining Op BRIDGES scales and requirements.
2. Assisting MilCapPlans, D Futures, and sponsor branches with the development of statements of requirement and business cases for new clothing requirements or increases to unit or pool holdings
3.  Monitoring Army units' receipts of clothing items to ensure compliance with MOD Quality Assurance specifications.  These specifications may be adjusted by mutual consent to meet operational demands and changing requirements.
4. Ensuring any Materiel defect reports raised by Army units are investigated by DE&S DC team/the Delivery Partner (DP) and resolved where possible.
5. Developing Materiel Support (incl clothing) supply management policy processes and procedures, and maintain liaison with Ordnance Warrant Officers (OWOs) in the Army chain of command.  Provide advice and guidance to the Log Sp Assurance process. 
6. Monitoring HLB Materiel (incl clothing) consumption, challenging excessive issues.
7. Authorising/Rejecting demands, raising task issue orders and overriding management stock bans.
8. On the direction of SO2 Mat Sp, draft Fielding Plans and co-ordinating fielding plans for new to service or supersession Items.
9. Managing the Army CT Ex/OTX Clothing supply, including Warm and Cold Weather supplement issues and demands, developing ad hoc operational scales as necessary.
10. Contributing to and inputting data for Activity and Resource Planning (A&RP) Materiel (principally clothing) Demand Plans including annual Command Acquisition Support Plan (CASP) annual requirement data.
11. Monitor depot and Stock Available for Issue (SAFI) stocks of Materiel (principally clothing) monthly, notifying DE&S of potential stock shortfall. 
12. Supporting and when necessary deputising for the SO2 Mat Sp.
