Vacancy detail

1.    Act as the Unit JTAC-I IAW JSP918 and liaise with JALO STANEVAL as required.
2.    Assist the BC in the command and administration of the TACP and to 255 Bty as directed.
3.    Provide advice on TACP issues including G3, G4 and G6 matters to the OC and BC as required.
4.    Execute G3 matters for the TACP as directed including provision of support to trg.
5.    Provide Terminal Control for air to surface fires as directed.
6.    Provide Battlespace Management advice and guidance as directed.
7.    Uphold and reinforce the Values and Standards of the British Army.
8.    Supervise and advise on the work of subordinate personnel within 255 Bty.
9.    Develop the leadership abilities and responsibilities of subordinate personnel.

The successful applicant will be expected to deploy on exercise as required.  The successful applicant should have a working knowledge of Joint Fires, Offensive Support and Battlespace Management in a Battlegroup context. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain an appropriate level of fitness.
