Domestic Considerations: FTRS. Some Travel and overnight duty away from home may be required.
Position Role: Lead staff officer for the exploitation of CSS lessons identified from operational, training and experimentation activity, in order to influence and shape the development of future concepts and doctrine. This is underpinned by a coherent evidence based approach to Research, Development, Analysis and Experimentation (RDA&E). Focal point for development of CSS C4I and Interoperability concepts.
Responsibilities:
1. Direct Mission, Training and Lessons exploitation processes IOT ensure that CSS lessons identified are collected, processed and disseminated.
2. Act as HoC CSS lead for the DLIMS, coordinating responses to and delivering coherence between Cap CSS and CFA LXC processes.
3. Desk Lead for CSS C4I Concept Development, acting as Information DLOD lead for CSS Cap Dev and CSS focal point for D Info.
4. Supports SO1 FIIRE to ensure CSS Interoperability input to the development of bilateral and coalition operational concepts
5. Supports SO1 S&T Integrate in managing and developing the CSS MQL, allowing IRE to be properly allocated, tracked and controlled.
6. Provide support to SciAdv S&TG for the management of Research, Development, Analysis and Experimentation (RDA&E).
7. Provide support to other staff leads as required
Staff experience
Coalition Experience (Esp NATO).
Experience of Information Systems development.
