Vacancy detail

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and co-ordinate all Bn operations in support of the Operations Officer.
2. Generate and manage operational support SLAs with customers in collaboration with Coys.
3. Engage with operational customers in the identification of future requirements and preparation of Individual Augmentees.
4. Co-ordinate the PREPARE function for Individual Augmentees for all operational manpower requirements through the Graduated Commitments Mechanism.
5. Act as the Bn PoC, in conjunction with the Operations Officer, for all mobilised personnel and all customers employing Bn personnel, in coord with MTMC.
6. Assist the Operations Officer to collaborate with the UESO on all Employer Support issues resulting from mobilisations and operational taskings.
7. Support the Operations Officer in his role as Bn G2 Information Manager.

This post requires a pro-active individual who will be comfortable interacting within Defence and across OGD at senior levels to identify and develop new avenues of Int support and then maintain the resulting tasking and reporting processes.   As the post involves a high degree of human interaction and the ability to influence others, the incumbent will need to demonstrate a professional but personable and approachable character.  They must be able to impress senior figures within customer organisations to sell the Bn's capabilities.  The role also involves active engagement in the mobilisation process, requiring the incumbent engage with the Bn’s manpower at all levels.  They must be willing to deal with issues and contacts from individuals/employers/ customers, be flexible and mentally agile to identify IA preparation solutions and make them happen, often at short notice.
