RQMS HQ York Garrison

Management and control of accounts: Maintain Equipment Entitlement for HQ York Garrison, Maintain Miscellaneous Account for HQ York Garrison, Maintain Ammunition Account for HQ York Garrison, Safekeep ammunition and pyrotechnics for the MoD Police, Maintain Loan Account, Supervise Expense account, Supervise Clothing account, Supervise Accommodation Stores account and Supervise Stationary account.

This incorporates physical demands, initial conditioning, personal issues, item maintenance, cleanliness, storage, back loading and disposal of equipment. (Including IT Equipment and fired ammunition brass salvage).

Spcific roles; Supervise the day to day running of the Garrison Clothing store, (CML figure of 1600 personnel). Including making policy decisions, ensuring personal scales are correct and dealing with any unusual requests or requirements, Prepare for and co-ordinate all external Inspections and Audits, (LSA&I, LEA, Radiation, Ammunition and BOO), Ensure all management checks and inspections are carried out in accordance with current regulations, Provide G4 advice and direction to all Garrison Units, Acts as the Unit Radiation Supervisor Officer for HQ York Garrison, HQ 1 (UK) Division and Kohima Museum, Responsible for operation and maintenance of the MJDI system for HQ York Garrison and HQ York Garrison Medical Centre, Responsible for producing Risk Assessments for all departments in QM’s AOR, Responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety within the QM’s AOR, Assist in the running and setting up of Military events (Royal Salutes, Remembrance Sunday), Deputises for the AFPA during periods of absence (Induction training, processing AF 510's (Accident forms), Deputises for the GSM and QM during periods of absence
