Task requirements

Responsibility Description:

Contribute to the career development and training of Sub-Unit personnel.

Manage Sub-Unit visits, inspections & ceremonial events.

Contribute to Sub-Unit discipline.

Contribute to Sub-Unit health, wellbeing and welfare.

Perform Mess Duties.

Direct Sub-Unit security.

Support the operational capability of the Sub-Unit.

Essential competencies

Applicants must be Class 1 RLC (Unspecified) and be IT / Office 365 literate.

Desirable competencies

It would be desirable if applicants have Drill Inst, TRiM Coord, ITR instructor qualifications.

Selection Process

Applicants will be boarded for suitability prior to being invited for interview.

Additional information

158 Regt RLC is a Regional Army Reserve unit. Annual Bounty will be awarded on achievement of mandatory training requirements. 27 RSD + 21 ST, additional ST available. Evening and weekend work will be required.

Regular to Reserve and inter cap badge transfers will be considered, but a full retrade will be required within 24-Months of taking up the appointment.
