Vacancy detail

Lead Staff Officer for delivery of current DPHC services to the Reserve forces. Lead Staff Officer liasing with single Services and DPHC to plan future service delivery.  
1.      Assist in the management of current delivery of Reserve occupational health nationwide.
2.      Assist in the delivery of Reserve OH.
3.      Assist in the management of civilian contractors taken on to ensure that they deliver to DPHC standards.
4.      Represent SO1 OH at sS, Formation, Bde as directed.
5.      Oversee and manage the transfer of Reservists paper and electronic health records onto DMICP.
6.      Act as single point of contact (SPOC) for all Reserve units with regard to OH services.
7.      Deliver training to external contractors, as necessary to ensure that they comply with DPHC directives.
8.      Oversee the management of Reserve Units’ health requirements as delivered by Regional Reserve practice managers. 
Previous staff experience is Essential
ICSC(LR)
Previous leadership role at least Sub-Unit level.
Previous project management experience would be beneficial.
Ideally should come from a medical background.
FTRS Application through to boarding
Good background in Occupational Health & Primary Healthcare Delivery desirable. Should understand the specific constraints and requirements of the Reserves and Occupational OH & PHC.
