Domestic Considerations: The unit is located within General Dynamics production site therefore it is a lodger unit. 
Position Role: Officer commanding the Ajax Acceptance and Testing Team (ATT) and Principal officer responsible for the acceptance of the Ajax fleet from General Dynamics on behalf of AHQ and DE&S.

Responsibilities:
1.  Officer Commanding Ajax ATT.
2. Lead the detailed planning of the Ajax ATT resourcing to execute the DE&S and AHQ vehicle delivery and Fielding Plan.
3. Lead for the implementation and continuous review of the Ajax ATT General Acceptance Test.(GAT)
4. Core member of the weekly GAT Sentencing Committee.
5. Provide ATT SMEs to AHQ, DE&S and GDLS(UK) in support of the wider Ajax programme when required.
6. 1RO and 2RO MS for ATT personnel.
7. Ensure continuous links and correspondence with supporting organisation iaw the Ajax ATT Implementation Order.
8. Member of the following meetings:
   a. Armed Cav WG and Weekly updates.
   b. Ajax portfolio weekly
   c. DE&S Safety Environmental Panels.
   d. Cannon WG.
   e. Ad hoc meeting in the support of the Ajax programme.

9. Responsible for the ATT material accounts iaw JSP 800.
An engineering background at Degree level and hold the REME Engineering Officer (EngO) qualification.
Must have Armoured Vehicle engineering experience
LE preferred with armoured unit (Inf, RAC,RE,RA, REME) experience.
OC Armd LAD or 2IC Armoured Coy REME Bn
Capability and Acquisition stream. 
Previous technical / weapons career field experience is preferred.
