Domestic Considerations: Army Full Time Reserve Service post on Home Commitment.
Position Role:  Advise on Safety Health Environment and Fire (SHEF) to ensure compliance IAW Legislation and Policy for 14 RA and the Royal School of Artillery.
Responsibilities:  
1. To provide competent impartial advice and assurance to the CO on all major health, safety and environmental issues.
2.  The formulation, development and implementation of H&S policies to incorporate new or existing activities and processes.
3.  In conjunction with the Garrison Management Team (GMT), act as the SHEF focal point for the Unit. 
4.  Provide SME advice and instruction SHEF and risk management. To include the management of 14RA/RSA DURALS data requirements.
5.  Implement and manage an Effective Unit Management Systems for Army Sites (EMSAS) that incorporates sustainable development strategies.
6.  Promote a positive H&S culture and ensure the effective implementation of H&S policies.
7.  Produce and monitor the unit site risk assessment and the SHEF action plan to meet the requirement of the higher formation plan.
8.  Review and conduct audits of the H&S management system. Ensure safety inspections and internal audits are carried out IAW Army direction.
1. Level 3 Qual in either H&S, Tech IOSH, BSC or NEBOSH.
2. NEBOSH fire.
3. First Aid at Work.
4. DIT/BIT or equivalent.
