CQMS London UOTC (Canterbury Detachment)

Unit Role:

University of London Officers' Training Corps (ULOTC) is to develop the leadership potential of selected students and Army Reserve potential officers, and to promote the Army’s ethos and career opportunities in order to secure commitment to the Army, first as officers, but also as future leaders in their chosen profession who will champion the Army in society. 

Position Role: 

A single CQMS working directly to QM and RQMS. Responsible to the QM as Senior Materiel Accountant (SMA) and Unit Application Administrator (UAA) for the smooth running and management of the Canterbury Detachment of London UOTC stores and G4 requirements. Should be prepared to take on a teaching responsibility due to location and manning.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervision, management, operation, accounting, and actioning of Canterbury Detachment G4 accounts on MJDI /JAMES.
2. Preparation and participation for external assurance and audits.
3. Actioning of all G4 events and requirements requested through CHURCHILL.
4. Provide G4 support for all activities and exercises including drill nights.
5. Deploy and support the unit on 16-day Annual Training Exercise, and any other training serials where appropriate.
